Day 5: Character you're most like

This was another one I was stumped by for quite a while. I almost chose Nuriko, who I don't particularly resemble, but who is the only character I've ever cosplayed. Then I realized the answer was

I wanted to find a clip of the Shikkari shite scene on youtube, but failing that, this music video will have to do.

SO ME.

True story: my best friend in college decided at one point that the reason I was having trouble finding someone to date was that I was actually a member of a different species. We concluded that a variety of sloth was the most likely candidate, and a lot of strange artwork ensued. (As Dave Barry would say, I swear I am not making this up.)

For me....while I've found plenty (PLENTY) of similarities across several characters over the years, I really think I'd have to say Hiro (Junjo). The closest runner up, or my answer if we're going to be sticklers about *gender* (pfft!): my now-always alter ego Sakura (Naruto) -- at least, the Sakura from up until the point where I stopped reading/watching anyway.

I would dearly love to be Matsuri-chan from Souryuuden. ...I mean, who wouldn't want to have four dragon kings at her beck and call?

(Okay, I know it's cheating to link a picture from the novels rather than the anime, but I couldn't resist the CLAMP art.)

As for someone whom I actually resemble...the closest I can think of is the main character from Read or Die, though even I am not THAT obsessed. Second choice would be Meiko from Marmalade Boy.

Yeah, Yomiko from ROD is always what pops into my head for me too - but really her personality doesn't match up very well with mine :p

Probably the best fit for me is early Kiyomaro from Konjiki no Gash.
