Wasn't Speed Racer's car (Mach 5 in English) named with a similar pun? The family's name in Japanese was Gou, I think, and 号 can be a car model as well as a ship name, and it was the fifth one (五). So, Gou Gou go "Gou Model Five". (Go Speed Racer, go!)

I kind of like Merry Go, even though it's not quite correct. (In Japanese, they're usually saying "Going Merry" or just "Merry".)
