No, normal ducks don't. But 超カルガモ do. (I know this is explained somewhere, but I can't remember where. If nothing else, there's some other chou-bird that shows up later, and in the SBS explanation, there's some comment about how they have teeth like the chou-karugamo.)

It is very rare for Luffy to give a nickname that doesn't involve the word Ossan (I think it might actually be a weird gesture of respect when he considers someone worthy of a unique name).
Hmm, interesting. I just figured Smoker wasn't old enough to warrant "ossan." I mean, he gives (non-ossan) nicknames to a lot of the enemies he fights, too, doesn't he?
When inside the cage, Luffy says he feels "weak"
Isn't that when he's standing with his arms through the bars of the cage (that is, actually touching the kairouseki)?
Random note: some of Kohza's followers call him Kohza-san (or just Kohza), some call him "Leader." I wonder if the latter are followers who have known him since childhood, like Vivi?He is shocked to discover, on arriving, that the cage is open, all the bananawani are knocked out, and there's a note pinned to the chest of Mr. 3's unconscious body.
I love this moment, but yet another SBS points out that Mr. 3 shouldn't be able to float. Oda handwaves this off by saying that he's floating on a "super buoyant" plank of wood. XD
