Today's post will be sad and lame, because I have NO IDEA how to answer this question.

An ecchi picture from your favorite series

OK, so this seems to require that I supply an ecchi picture for Rurouni Kenshin. Which would undoubtedly be easy (apart from the fact that all my stuff is in another state) if I had ever collected doujinshi for the series, whether het or slash. But surprisingly, I don't have a single one. (The only series doujinshi I've ever collected are Phoenix Wright and Fujimi; I basically only buy original author doujinshi.) And the internet seems disinclined to cooperate (though maybe it's just that I don't want to venture too far down this rabbit hole).

So I looked at the alternate list for the meme I added to my first post, and today's item would be "Favorite anime director." The problem is, the only director I know well enough to recognize by name and seek out is Hayao Miyazaki, and while he deserves the honor, could that choice be any less original?

So, since today's post is made of fail, perhaps people can instead devote the comments to telling me what on earth they think the item for tomorrow means ("Cosplay of your ‘waifu’ or Husbando’"), because I understand that question even LESS. Or, I don't know, comment on your favorite ecchi RK doujinshi if you have one.

ETA: this makes me wish I had collected RK DJ, because as much as I love Kenshin X Kaoru, my favorite pairing was totally Aoshi X Misao. There must be ecchi DJ for them out there somewhere, right?

Can yaoi not be ecchi? I ask because my favorite series-derived dj is a Hiko x Saitoh series.

I honestly don't know. I would say that ecchi could include yaoi, but I don't know what fans say... or rather, the kind of fans that talk about "ecchi" rather than "porn."

I'm a bit out of the loop in cosplay circles, but I think tomorrow's question is basically "what anime character would you marry if you could - now find a cosplay of someone dressed as them"

(I've never heard 'husbando' used before - but waifu is generally used by guy fans for their anime OTL - well, by stupid guy fans anyway)

Yup, that's my interpretation as well. Waifu/husbando = the person you would marry on the astral plane*, as it were. (I hadn't heard the term "husbando" either, but I presume the creator of the meme was trying to be more inclusive by not just using "waifu.")

*If you are unfamiliar with this phrase, I absolutely do NOT advise you to google "snapewives" under any circumstances.

Sadly, I didn't have to google that one... it's one of the things that comes to mind when people talk about Japan like it has a monopoly on the crazy :p
