Wow, I got way behind. The fact that collarnojutsu came to visit for a few days is only part of my excuse. The main reason was that I don't get any of these questions.

My feeble attempts:

Day 13 - Cosplay of your ‘waifu’ or Husbando’

So, even after this question was so helpfully explained to me, I still didn't know how to answer it, because I really do not suffer from the delusion of wanting to marry anime characters. (I did google snapewives, to my sorrow.)

After much thought, I went looking for an image of someone cosplaying Kei, although that's really cheating, because the only Kei I would want to marry is the one from the novels, not the psycho freak in the anime (and like he would ever look at anyone but Yuuki anyway?), but I couldn't even find anything relevant, and the images I WAS finding just scared me.

Moving on...


Day 14 - current (or most recent) anime wallpaper

This question I get, I just don't know how to answer it, because I rarely change my wallpaper, and don't typically use anime images when I do. I seriously considered going out and finding an anime wallpaper just so I could post that, but that seemed more like cheating than ever. I was going to post my favorite Silver Diamond wallpaper, which I kept around for ages just because it was so pretty, but then collarnojutsu pointed out that that wasn't an anime.

Also, I refuse to admit that the last anime wallpaper I had before that was an image of Neflite.

Moving on, again....


Day 15 - Post a cute Neko-girl

And this one I understand, but it could not possibly bore me more. In spite of my love for cats, the Neko-girl is like the antimatter opposite of moe for me.

Day 16 - post a kigurumi cosplay of your favorite anime character

... and now we're back to WTF. collarnojutsu and I had an extended discussion about this one, and it was not possible to determine whether this is supposed to mean someone cosplaying your favorite character, but in animal form (???), or your favorite charcter cosplaying an animal in the anime, like Shuuichi in Gravitation or something.

So, I wouldn't say he's my favorite character of all time or anything, but have a picture of puppy Tsuzuki from Yami no Matsuei:



That actually raises the question of who IS my favorite character, and I'm not completely certain how to answer that. Favorite character EVER? What criteria does one even use to choose something like that?

ETA: I just googled kigurumi and now I'm even more scared. Some realms of fandom are just not safe. OH GOD MY EYES

13. While I don't have the actual delusion of marrying any fictional characters (I mostly want to keep them as pets...I AM NOT CREEPY!), I also think people who take the "astral plane" stuff seriously -- that is, people on the outside, not snapewives -- are the ones who don't get it. Which is why I think this question is designed to humiliate them in some way. 'cause if you want to marry a cartoon character, most real-life representations will just creep you out.

Pass on the others. Though, re: 16, I wonder if that one is supposed to be creepy/gross? (Like, "Who's your favorite character? Now find a REALLY GROSS picture of him/her!") I'm pretty sure fans that like kigurumi are fringe enough to not warrant a serious question on a meme like this.

I'm not completely certain how to answer that. Favorite character EVER? What criteria does one even use to choose something like that?

TWINS! Before Christmas, my brother called me up to ask who my favorite anime/manga character was (and it was for a present, so he wouldn't elaborate why), and was confused when I couldn't come up with an answer right away. I'm pretty sure he has no idea the sample size I'm dealing with.

Day 13: No. Unless/until my friend does her cosplay as Conrad.

Day 14: I've been using some nice pics from the gardens for my wallpapers lately, but my favorite summertime wallpaper, which I will switch over too soon (and frequently default to during other times of the year when I can't decide), is THIS.

Day 15: I guess I'm the freak of bunch because I don't mind (and sometimes really like!) catgirls, though I rather suspect that's a holdover from the days when they seemed less fanboy-pandering and more random cuteness of the "only in anime!" variety. At the very least, I feel certain I do not look upon the answer to "post a cute cat girl" in the same fashion as the creator of this meme did. Anyway, I thought about posting a catBOY instead since it would be more applicable, and this became the obvious choice after this weekend.

Day 16: Only in keeping with the above theme/gag/private joke am I posting this at all though he is not my favorite character or anything.

One of my forum friends actually found that picture and turned it into a shiny wallpaper for my birthday a few summers back. I must have stared at it for hours that summer... and NOT just because it was my wallpaper. ;) I think it's truly my favorite KKM picture, and in the world of many awesome KKM images, that's saying something! :)
